Dr. Bhabananda Das is the Chairman and founder of North East Health City Hospital/ Dr. Bhaba Das Foundation. The pioneer has made India immensely proud by being the VISISTHA CHIKITSA RATAN awardee by Delhi Medical Association, Rare Cardio Thoraco Vascular Surgeon and Beating heart Surgery of India.

Dr. Bhabananda Das has pursued MBBS, Guwahati Medical College, 1975; House Job, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, 1975-1976; MS General Surgery, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, 1980 and MCH Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, 1983. A highly skilled cardiac surgeon, the pioneer has had tremendous experience – Lecturer, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, 1984-1996; Associate Professor, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, 1996; Senior Consultant and Chief of Cardiac Surgery, Apollo Hospital Delhi, – Present, performing 800-1000 cardiac surgeries annually and 30,000 successful surgery over 30 years.
